Harbour icebreaking and towing fees

1.

Vessel assistance within the harbour area for each new half-hour period:

The service is provided with a minimum charge of one hour.

For travel assistance outside of the harbour itself, the fees are as follows:

• 1 May – 31 October EUR 330,00 for the start of each new half hour
• 1 November – 30 April EUR 400,00 for the start of each new half hour

Fee for waiting: EUR 170,00 for the start of each new half hour.

4.

A fee for overtime for each new hour will be charged in addition to the fees mentioned in sections 1, 2 and 3.

• Weekdays 3.30 p.m. – 7.30 a.m. EUR 275,00
• Holiday eves, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays EUR 355,00

In addition to the aforementioned, a charge will be issued for the actual transportation costs of the crew.

An additional fee of EUR 100,00 per assist will be charged if the tug's own tow line is used.

Alerting of personnel

• during overtime period on a weekday: EUR 275,00
• on Sundays and holiday eves: EUR 355,00

The fee is not charged during normal working hours.

• Rescheduled advance order during overtime period: EUR 190,00
• Charge for alerting off-duty personnel: EUR 1025,00
• Order for stand-by towing services outside of normal working hours
  • weekdays EUR 1025,00 / day
  • Sundays and holidays EUR 2050,00/day

8.

The time is calculated starting from the time the tugboat leaves its base to the time it returns to the base.

9.

Assistance in the Port of Tornio will be charged according to the tariff settled in the agreement with Outokumpu Stainless Oy.

10.

All operations are performed according to the towing terms and conditions of the Nordic tug owners' association (Pohjoismaiden Hinaajanomistajien liitto).

11.

• Other tasks, such as occasional assistance, towing, and special tasks shall be agreed upon separately, on a case-by-case basis, with the Port of Kemi.
• Fee for selling water with a tug is EUR 3.60 / m3 + tugboat expenses.
